Very excited, this could be the Google Cardboard Duke Nukem app I have been waiting for.
Duke 3D still reigns as the best ever multiplayer deathmatch fps.
I want a New game screw the Retro stuff it never goes over that big.
remake of duke nukem 3d on a modern doom like engine, and id be happy
So should I just throw money at my screen while screaming KICKASS??
Hmm, I'd be more apt for the engine funning FO4. Simply because I don't know if the new idtech engine scales for outdoor environments
Why would anyone want the gamebyro engine for anything lol. I think ID engines can handle the scope of the old Duke levels.
What's wrong with it? Handles a HUGE scale, tons of assets, and it's fast
It says in the OP that the site wont be up until September 3rd
Manhattan Project was the last Duke game worth a damn.
I liked Duke Nukem Forever.
That's going to be quite difficult. The game engine was able to do things that aren't easily accomplished in 3D. For example, one of the levels was circular, but it took 720 degrees of rotation, not 360 to get to do a full loop. Seamlessly done without any portals or the likes.
I thought I was the only one xD
I was excited for a new game like that one, now disappointment x(
Think he meant something like Duke Nukem Reloaded until Take 2 killed the project.
Edit. Meant to say Gearbox not Take2.
Site is working now for the 20th Anniversary Edition.
Part that excites me is the high fidelity re-recordings of Duke Talk and a new campaign.
I will be buying this!
I almost liked it. It just felt unfinished and at the release the two weapon limits, no coop mode, gave it a console limitation that the ultimately ruined it.
