new dreamcast hdmi box - looks good!

Wow, that looks great! It's pretty tempting, even though I have an VGA box for my Dreamcast. I just wish it wasn't $85.
 
Sweet, thanks for the good find. I may have to pick one up, as emulating my dreamcast games isn't always ideal and I've been meaning to play Shenmue in all it's original glory before 3 comes out. Glad I never sold/gave away my Dreamcast years ago!
 
Wondering if this is actually any better than getting a catch all device like the OSSC Upscaler.
 
it doesn't upscale its a straight through 480p to hdmi with a couple effects. in normal mode it will give you the sharpest, clearest, most accurate image possible.
 
if there is any lag, its from the tv. this is just a true 480p straight through to hdmi. the tv's built in scaler might work ok.
 
Loved that I could get beautiful 480p from this console before any other system was even close.
