New Build - Windows setup can't find hard drive

I just built my parents a computer and I'm having a hard time getting Windows setup to recognize the hard drive. OS is Windows 8 Pro. Hardware is as follows:

Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
Hard Drive: WD Raptor WD1500ADFD

It's an older drive (2008) that I had lying around. Figured I could make use of it with this build.

BIOS screen shows the hard drive connected to SATA port 0 just fine. But Windows says that it can't find any drives. It gives me the option to load a driver but I can't seem to find a driver for that drive.

All I see on the WD downloads page is:

Acronis True Image WD Edition Software Download
Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for DOS
Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows
SIIG Serial ATA Controller Card Driver
WD Serial ATA RAID Controller Card Driver

Any ideas how I can get Windows to recognize this drive?

Thanks!

Would recommend that you put drive in a USB adapter and run WD Data Lifeguard on it in a different computer. My guess is that drive is bad, but the extended test (if it will recognize it) will tell you the real condition of the drive.
150gb drive is really stretching it for Win 8 anyways (not much space left after full install)!
