I have some core new hardware arriving tomorrow (P6T, i7-920, etc) and I am going to do a clean install of Windows 7. I'm currently running it on my 80GB G2's in raid 0 on a P35 and before I reinstall I want to make sure the drives are "trimmed" or reset in such a way that they know of all the free blocks. I'm not sure what condition they're in now considering I've been using them for about a month now and Intel's drivers don't yet support TRIM in raid. Also, I did not install the borked firmware from a few weeks back so I'm still at the stock firmware.

What is the proper method of doing this? I assume it involves unraiding them and then running a wipe utility but I'm not sure what that would be.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I still want to use them in raid 0, I just want them to be factory fresh. There may be nothing required on my part other than just formatting the raid during setup, but I am not sure.
