1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming mostly, currently have Gigabyte X58A-UD3R mobo but need a new mobo it is old

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

$1000

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc.

Need MOBO, CPU, RAM and probably Video cards, currelty running ATI 5870 in Xfire

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 Quiet Edition Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. I am not sure if I can reuse this depends on the CPU but it supports Intel: LGA 1150 / LGA 1155 / LGA 1156 / LGA 1366 sockets

Samsung 840Pro 512GB SSD
maybe ATI 5600 graphic cards but willing to upgrade

6) Will you be overclocking?
possibly yes but not overthe top I am not an expert

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
2560x1600

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

now

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

looking for Sata 6gb crossfire or SLI usb 3.0

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

win 7 Ult 64bit

any suggestions basically I need a new mobo/ram/cpu everything else I have already

ignore my sig. that was a first build long long ago

I just built a pc for gaming... do you have a micro center near by they have great deals on cpu mobo combos

What PSU are you getting/reusing?
What about the case?

Yes you definitely need a new video card.

I have coolermaster HAF full tower case

CORSAIR HX850 850W more that enough to power SLI or Xfire

my current comp I build in 2010 or so or 2009 I dont rememebr anymore.

this is my current cpu Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield Quad-Core 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W

I just have so many marvel drivers issues with my current setup that I am so tired of it alwasy get bullcrap boot probelms becuase of the Marvel 91xx.sys drivers
I want Intel chipset or something better

I recommend the following then:
$336 - Intel Core i7-4790K CPU
$146 - Asus Z97-A Intel Z97 Motherboard
$131 - G.Skill Sniper Gaming Series F3-1600C9D-16GSR 2 x 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM
$350 - eVGA 04G-P4-2974-KR GTX 970 4GB PCI-E Video Card

geforce GTX 970
i5-4690K
A Z97 board with SLI support like the ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO or MSI Z97-Gaming 7
16GB of DDR3 1600 or higher.

That is what will give you the best bang for the buck in gaming right now. And you can add another 970 down the road if you feel like it.

16gb of RAM is ok or 32 what to get, I can afford it

16GB is already overkill as it is for a gaming PC. 32GB is unnecessary unless you plan on doing a ton of multi-tasking and don't plan on ever shutting down the PC with multiple web browsers opened.

ok you are right I'll stick with 16gb

looks like ASUS z97-A is the way to go although I've read newegg reviews and people had lot of boot problems or something like that but I think I'll go with it.

Dangman what mobo are you using?

sweet so you are using z87 a
which is pretty much the same as z97-a cool

Thanks for you time and help I appreciate it
