If I remember correctly it just stopped showing up in the BIOS and the drive didn't want to power up.

Had to re-download all my games on 6Mbps dsl.

I think many of us did the Raptor RAID back in the day.... I had 36s 74s 80s 150s and then 600s.... all RAID zero arrays..SSDs put an end to that era

i picked up 2 80GB velociraptors with the ice caddies for 20 bucks last year, SMART listed very few hours (less than 100) on them too. put em in my semi retro build that's sitting in my closet now. damn boredom gots me spending money on old shit again.

I had one... It died and they sent me the regular version

I had it mounted to where you could see it inside the case. It was beautiful.

I remember that the modding community did this way before WD did. those things were cool as hell though.
