New bargain pump/res combo worth a look.

This is not a brand new release, it came to market in February, however I had never heard of this company making water cooling products. I was just window shopping online and had to do a double-take when I saw the D5 was included in the price. Those Lowara D5 pumps, depending on purchase quantity, can be purchased for around $44 from distribution channels. Is the reservoir worth $70? Idk, looks goofy IMO.

If you know where to find lowara d5s for $45 a pop im in for 20...if shipping isnt too stupid. Btw laing is lowara just a different region than the states(usually EU).

I bought a kit that came with the pump/res below which is pretty much the same one mentioned here but cylinder instead of that rectangular shape. The D5 pump and its housing looks pretty much the same as my Swiftech MCP655 original vario or XSPC D5. They're all the same pretty much.

Thats a solid price for a combo. Especially when you compare prices. It used to be anything with D5/DDC in the name was laing built but with so many cheap knock offs you have to do a little more research to be certain its a real D5 now. The best way to be sure is to go with a topless pump so you can verify the rotor and impellar look right.
