Asus is making new line of sound cards for gamers. Most expensive one of the lineup is, at least in Poland, in Zxr price range, the lower tier are more expensive than Zx and Z. THey even have same volume control model as their Strix headsets have.
On paper they look nice, wonder how they will work in reality (launch date in Poland is October). And I wonder if Creative will prepare some answer. Judging from their IFA booth, they won't, as it was very poor stand with some BT speakers and headsets. Nothing was mentioned in internal PC sound department.
