New Arista 7500: Competition is good

I need to request to get my hands on one of these bad boys. MLAG (vPC) support! Should be interesting to compare to the D1 Nexus7K cards..

For those that don't know Arista.. it's a relatively new/small company that has a lot of top ex-Cisco talent over there.

I've used a handful of 7148s's and I must say, they are quite nice. Seems they took their tech from the 1u switches and put them into a chassis.

The most amazing thing there, is the 11u chassis. Currently to get anywhere near that port density you have to go 21+

Yeah those are decent switches -- love the ~600 ns latency. And EOS is very IOS like.
