New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

Wow it is really hard to take good pics of a black case with a black tinted window under a desk at night with an old point and shoot digital camera from 2006 :D

:D

They are Triebwerk TK-123. They are on sale right now at FrozenCPU for $10 each.

nice upgrade sonda!

I think I'm going to sell two of my 560 ti 448's and put the third in a htpc gaming rig. then buy a 680 for my main rig to replace my sli setup.

What card did you upgrade to?

Got the HD7950 in June. I have had the fans for about 6 months.HK Block on HD7950 and DT SNIPER block just recently went in. :) Have some clear Tygon R-3603 tubing on the way from Sidwinder Computers.

Great looking build. I like how short and direct your tubing is. How does that huge radiator perform?

Pretty well, but I don't have much to compare it to as this is my first water loop. The highest temps I've seen were 45c and 50c on the GPU in furmark and on the CPU in prime95 respectively. The GPU is a 6950 with unlocked shaders at 950 on the core and 1400 on the memory, and the CPU is a 2500K at 4.6GHz.

I know the rad has more surface area than a 480 radiator going by the physical size of it alone.

Don't remember if I posted in this yet, might have, but anyway:

I will be adding an external triple radiator stand in the comming weeks. Full modular with quick disconnects, it's own pump and res, and a fan controller.

try out the water cooling on my old system :) i dare to try organic cables theme (management) on this case.

nice... I have this same case for my DFI rig... cool to see you built it in the "BTX" style? flipped mobo so the slots are at the top... I am not sure that constitutes btx but that's what we used to call it. ;)

edit: lol.. I guess all you did was turn the case upside down and put castors on what should be the top panel? anyways... good stuff man.

Thanks revenant.

Oh, Have you SUBEAMTECH case? This is nice surprise :D
Indeed, this is like the "BTX" style...
So, this is ATX upside down. the rear panel(only) upside down.
and put castors on the bottom panel.

Apparently I never got around to posting my rig in this thread. Finished the build around March timeframe I believe. I've since ditched the milky white for regular distilled (Ice Dragon stained the tubes and is WAY expensive compared to Distilled).

My first watercooling build. I will get a custom block for big Kepler when that gets released. For now my 620-mod works great on 680 (overclocks to 1410mhz at 65-67C loaded).

However....currently it is dead.
The res wasn't tight enough in its clamps and it fell, pulling loose the tube from the mobo and drenching my ram.

I'll leave fixing it till the weekend when all my coding shiz is done.

Ouch. :(

Nothing really fancy. New build. Used the existing tubing in the same configuration as my last build from two years ago.

Got a new camera this past weekend, so I think I'll take some better shots, but for now these will do.

A few things have changed since these pictures, such as switching to the DT Direct 2011 water block and sleeving the rest of the cables. I've also switched from a single GTX 680 to dual GTX 560 ti (448 core) GPUs.

@andom, you just fucking sold me on that case. That will be my 2013 case after I move to my new house.

more pics please! also what are the specs of the rig?

I'll take some more pics after a few more upgrades.

here's mine, XSPC Raystorm block, RX360 radiator, D5 variable pump. Distilled water and a kill coil.

I think I got a poor sample of my 3570k, 4.5Ghz is taking around 1.35v, temps are in the 60's.

Wow, I just went through this entire thread. I have always wanted a custom loop, and finally pulled the trigger. Should be all setup on Tuesday. I will post pictures when I am done.

Got my Classified today, sent the 680ftw back to newegg, it was defective! God I hope this rig is done for awhile.

Running solid at 1250 Mhz GPU 6804 Mhz mem, pushed my 3dmark11 score up to 10,235.
