New and Improved Watercooling Sticky - Post Your Systems Here

Ok, I know I just posted pics, but this just looks so much better with the white tube that I had to post more... I'll stop I promise!

Specs in sig, changed out the clear Tygon tube for Fesser tube in white.

Man that looks so nice!

Loving the orange and black theme, Ace. :)

Agreed - very nice looking setup!

WTF is going on with your tubing/fittings there? Are those compression with additional tubing/wrapping around them?

This is my new but old setup. Diablo 3!!!
Old Li-Lian PC-V1000B case. Modded by me to fit everything.

Ive been out of the game for a wile. This is a small case to cram all this gear into. So take it easy on me!
CPU is @ 4.5ghz. idles at 27C. Max temp after Prime95 for 1 hour was 53C
GPU is @ 900/2150 @ 1.085v. Also idles at 27C. Max temp after 1 hour of furmark, Kombustor and Heaven was 37C.

A few mods i made to the case to fit the WC setup.

this is looking up at top of the inside of the case. So you can see the holes that were drilled to allow air flow.

Soldered the fan wires to clean it up. I soldered them in parallel, in groups of 3, as to not exceed the 30Watt ratings on my board.

Thanks very much
They're just called pass through connectors pal most of the good water cooling stores stock them. ;)

That's an awesome loop :D

The lack of curve in the tubing is...unique.

Are you using barb and compression fittings?

On my last rig when my H50 started having problems I did a custom loop and became hooked on watercooling. After much research and part gathering, here is my first attempt at a real liquid cooled loop.

Parts list:

I7 2700k @ 4.5ghz w/ XSPC waterblock
Asus Z77 Sabertooth
Asus GTX 680 1200/7000 w/ Heatkiller block and backplate
4 x 4gb GSkill Sniper 1866 ram
256 Samsung 830 SSD
2x 1TB HDD

I'm going to do water cooling next, I have to just wrap my head around which brands sell the best parts for each part. Nice looking systems here. I can wait to try hand at it. I may buy a TJ11 to water cool.

Might as well buy a gold-plated i7 3960x while you're at it :D TJ11s are fantastic cases, but totally unaffordable (for me :D) My entire system isn't as expensive as that...ok fine, it is, but only by a few bucks.

While I don't cap my budget, I do have buying limits weekly, so it is more of how long I want to wait rather than how much I can spend. No reason for me to do anything but a 3770K. Wait... they make gold plated CPUS? And any watercooling system is going to run more than $600 dollars!!

Besides that, I like the stack cooling, the dual unibody, air penetrator fans, and the modding friendly design of the TJ11. Might be worth it if I keep her for 10 years or so. If not, overtime at work will cover it.

It's definitely a fantastic case, that's for absolutely sure. The rivetless design itself is just nice.

I don't know about the $600...unless you're talking about PC parts in addition to the loop. My loop costs 350.

Yeah, the tj11 looks amazing! Loops can get pretty expensive if you start getting real specific. My D5 cost $200 without a res or fittings. Bitspower ;)

Edit: Also, if anything is gonna be future proof it's a good case and watercooling.
I've understood overtime that there is no point skimping on a case if you are really into building pc's
I'd rather spend hundreds more on fancy fittings and a case than have sli 670s as I personally get enough performance out of one.
I'm more into spiffy builds than exorbitant amounts of power.
If money is tight and saving is impossible that is understandable though.

not nearly as nice as some here, but it seems to work well for my first time water cooling :)

Last loop for a while. I'll be switching to air shortly. I'm tired of the expensive part of wc and I need the money for new graphics :(

Very neat. Making me wish I used thinner tube.
Nothing looks out of place and the Lian Li keeps your hard work looking great!

I don't understand why people use larger tubing when the connections are 1/4" on nearly everything. Can someone explain this to me... Why use 1/2" ID?

1/4" is the thread size, not the diameter of the opening. 1/2"ID is smaller than the hole inside the bung-hole.... No pun intended. Google pipe threads and you will see.
