Security researchers at Trend Micro put out a warning today that attackers are exploiting a vulnerability in fully patched versions of Adobe Flash Player. So far only government agencies are being targeted.

Trend Micro researchers have discovered that the attackers behind Pawn Storm, the long-running cyber-espionage campaign, are using an Adobe Flash zero-day exploit code for their attacks. The particular affected vulnerability is still unpatched, making Flash users vulnerable to attacks.

Not sure when folks will realize enough is enough, been Flash free for months, not looking back. Occasionally I may find something that needs it, then I question if it's worth getting pwnt. So far no reason to install it back.

I cut the flash and java cord months ago. Problem solved.

I'm with these guys. I found uninstalling it actually made my entire browsing experience faster and better. It's an unnecessary evil and I used to be a flash content create a long long time ago.
