Alright heres whats going on. Network transfers are going real slow. From PC1 to PC2 and Laptop 1 are really slow. But when I transfer something from PC2 and Laptop 1 to PC1 its goes fast as normal.

I have tried different cables and ports. My router is a D-Link 704P

Any ideas on what I can do?

Have you tried using different protocols?(ie, if you are transferring things through shared folders, try ftp)

    What speeds are you getting?

Which machines are wired, which machines are wireless?

Are they all on the same subnet?

What are the speeds from PC2 to laptop and laptop to PC2?

make sure the hard drives aren't the bottleneck either. A heavily fragmented HD can be the skinny pipe in the process
