I fell in love with the Samsung 9 Series after pricing out two laptops for family members and found myself repeatedly gravitating back to these. Now I'm interested in one for myself - but I need a touchscreen for Windows 8.
Usage scenarios are casual Windows computer use. No gaming. No need for killer graphics. I simply need a portable, super light, ruled-paper notebook-sized notebook/ultranote that connects to the web where I can type for extended periods and run legacy Windows apps (meaning WinRT is out).
In essence, I'm looking a Samsung 9 Series with a touch screen - or a Surface Pro with a real keyboard (have no idea how slim and light these will be) - but can't find anything on the market today that fits the bill.
Must Haves Include:
Don't Need (or don't care if I get these or not):
Any hints, tips, ideas? I coudl wait for a Surface Pro and hope. But I'd rather hope for a Samsung 9 Series upgraded to have a touchscreen, but have no idea if my wait would be in vain.

Must Haves Include:
- Real keyboard (typing on a screen isn't good enough)
- Super-slim, Apple-like light design (again - the Samsung 9 series is *exactly* the model)
- SSD (using an HDD on a laptop/notebook doesn't cut it anymore)
- Touchscreen
- Long battery life
- Integrated camera (for Skype) is a plus
Don't Need (or don't care if I get these or not):
- Optical Drive
- Killer Graphics
