Hello,

I have a laptop that I want to upgrade my memory for and I can't find the Motherboard Specs for the life of me.
All I know from CPUz is this: Alienware Aurora m9700 AB04
...and that's it. Currently it's running 2x256 DDR 800 and it's just killin me.

Does anyone know where to find the memory compatibilities for this esoteric mobo?
Thanks,
-Joe

Thanks for that link!
I know there are different types of memory for laptops but some laptops can handle regular memory, etc.
Is there any way to differentiate this on that website?

You don't have to use crucial to buy your memory but here you go.

http://crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=AURORA%20m9700

The specs says you should be running DDR 400 (PC3200) and 2GB max.

just use the link chatchai gave you. Crucial memory is as regular as you can get. You can try other brand too, maybe kingston or corsair. Laptop memory usually don't have heatsink, so sticking with crucial a good bet it will be compatible.
