need to upgrade hard drive... advice please

hello my fellow Apple users, i'd just like some information to help me fix a friend's computer. i understand it might be a little outdated to work on, but its a college budget im working with. she has a color iMac G3 333mhz, 64mb (soon to be upgraded), 6gb hdd (i believe os X), and that's all to my knowledge.. just some fyi im very proficent with the windows side of the computer spectrum, but any advice would be appreciated.

-what program could i use to image the 6gb oem drive onto a larger 80gb hdd? (i would really like to not go through installing the os/drivers/progs/files over)
(i notice partition magic isnt compatible with Apple)

-how many gb's does the mac os X handle on this motherboard? (jsut incase it has a limit like the 127gb '137gb' LBA limit)

any other upgrades tips or tricks would be cool!!! ty !
