I am open to the idea of used... I want a little bit of room to breathe...

thinking a decent 350-450 watt would do

silence is important

would like to stay under $100 (USD)

current system:

CPU: AMD Phenom 2 555, unlocked to QUAD CORE @ 3.6GHz (water cooled)

video card: GTX 460 1GB (water cooled)

SSD: 64GB sandforce 1222

hard drive 1 (main): 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 (old school but it gets the job done)

storage / back ups: Western Digital Green drive, 2.0TB 7200 rpm variable speed

optical: Blu ray reader (might add a burner before to long)

water cooling and fans:

FANS:
3.) Yate loons high speed 120mm @ 5v
5.) AP-13 Gentle Typhoons

Pump newer MCP-350, slow and silent wins the HTPC race

It's too low end for your requirements(only 28A on the 12v rail), if it could actually output 400W on the 12v it would have been fine but that's not the case here.

What is your budget and where are you buying from?

would like to stay under $100... either used on the boards or newegg / microcenter

I just got one... started a NEW Newegg account (for my mom... lol) and entered the code NEWCUSTOMER10 and got a $10... so that was $45 delivered and a $20 MIR comes to only $25
