This problem has driven me nuts. I can never get consistent wifi in my home. I don't know if its because of the concrete walls with rebar inside them or what, but after two rooms I get literally zero wireless signal with my E3000 or WRT54G running boosted signals. Is there some router I can buy that just blasts the strongest signal possible?

Not legally. At least not in the USA. The FCC limits the ERP of the device to a certain amount I can't possibly memorize, but isn't really relevant here - as most consumer devices approach it.
The Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 is widely regarded as a very very good wireless radio side with an external antenna (RP-SMA if I recall). And you can take that powerful radio and connect it to a directional antenna which is pointed towards where you lose signal. It's quasi legal in that you might exceed the FCC limit, but much like having suicide be illegal - nobody really cares except the person you affect.
Some radios are just better than others, but if you do happen to find an "amplifier" be warned that it likely isn't very well made and grey-market Chinese crap.
Repeating is also an option, but that will cut bandwidth and increase latency.

You will want to use something with MIMO and supports antenna diversity, so the E3000 is a good move in that direction. I would just run wire in the walls/ceilings and use (2) AP's Or just buy as many of these as needed.
