Keep in mind, limited cash. When I plug in my headphones to my tv I lose all ability to adjust treble, base, etc. just flat sound. I need to have some adjustment to make up for hearing loss. On my old stereo I used to have a 10 band per channel EQ and it worked well, but it was also classic gear that was built seriously and not in a factory that doesn't exist by the time you get the product if it takes more than 3 day shipping. I don't know anything available cheap that might help and was hoping for some suggestions.

So your TV does not provide audio via bluetooth, correct?

If your TV would have bluetooth:
Good bluetooth headsets with EQ app start at 25 bucks nowadays - and that´s the cheapest option by far

Back to other limited cash solutions:

Almost any micro hifi stereo speaker will have a rudimentary EQ nowadays - to filter the orignal signal through.

Many have an EQ app.

And that´s what you could try to find on the second hand market for two digits. New they cost 1xx.

I only have a good european example to copy the specs from, sorry.

LG CM2460DAB:

Sadly LG solely switched to a boom-box line...

But almost any setup will do if it has an EQ built in or via app.
So see if you can find something used

Good luck!

You can get headphone jack Bluetooth transmitters for pretty cheap and combine that with Bluetooth headphones, or just pair it with your hearing aids if you have them.

Yes, sad to say, no bluetooth on my TV. I need to feed my headphones, Sennheiser, as they are far better than any speakers I can afford.

Might be a couple dollars more to get an optical input, if the TV has optical out, that'll help your audio quality before bluetooth compression ruins it.
