If it were me, I'd cut back on everything else and grab a 1080 TI instead of a 1080. An 8700k, 16GB ~3000, cheaper mobo, a Thermalright Macho with some of their 140mm fans, 650W PSU is going to perform identically in games, if that's what you're going for, and that's still kinda overkill.

There's paying for quality, and then there's just burning money. You're past the point of diminishing returns, which definitely isn't worth it if you have to compromise on the GPU to do it.

Now, if this is a workstation, that's a different story.

Hi yeah.. I might be getting a EVGA 1080 TI for $600 but it was used to mine bitcoins for 6 months.. Not sure if it's worth taking that risk.. And My friend told me It's watercooled but only 6 months old. Is that worth it? what's the LIfespan of the 1080 GTX Ti's? I'm also thinking about the Alienware - AW3418DW 34.14" IPS LED UltraWide HD GSync Monitor for $999 just not sure if this rig would be able to give me decent FPS in World of Warcraft.... I honestly don't want to cut too many corners.. I tried to save a little here and there in the past on my other system and ran into a lot of problems. TY for the reply!

No used parts!!

Like bruce said..drop to 16 GB RAM 8700k and get the 1080 Ti.
