Need new monitor that supports disabled scaling @ 1280x1024

Hey, all. As of right now, I am using a Dell 2407WFP AO3. In Windows 7 and Windows Vista, I am unable to play Warcraft 3 @ 1280x1024 with scaling disabled. Whenever I click "apply" for disabling scaling, it will simply default back to allowing my monitor to handle that. However, when I go into my monitor settings, I can make it do it. But as soon as I alt+tab out of the game, and then alt+tab back in, I have to do it again. Very annoying, especially when it worked great when I had my 7950GT to automatically do it under the Nvidia panel.

I am using a GTX 260, Dell 2407WFP, and running Windows 7 RC1. I was possibly even considering the idea of getting a 22" monitor if that would give me a higher chance of attaining this.

Any recommendations?
