Need intel mobo to oc non K cpu. Which mobos in Micro ATX would work Z170/270?

I have a i6 6500 that did 4.7ghz on my Asrock board. Bought it as a stopgap when I was RMA'ing a 6600k. When I got the 6600k back, I flashed to a normal bios and lost the "SKY OC" bios I had. Asrock no longer has those bios's listed.

Wondering if any MSI/Asus boards etc... have any NON K bios's that work.

Something in a Z170/Z270 board Micro ATX format would be best

You cannot overclock the non k cpus as they are locked. You'd have to get one of the k series cpus if you plan on overclocking.
 
there were certain boards with certain bios's that allowed non k oc'ing with skylake cpus
 
Iirc this was something Asrock came up with. And before it got any traction Intel told them "nicely" to stop or else. So if you're able to find one of the OC bioses for the Asrock board then I'd stick to that or get another one like it.
 
yeah other's had bios's too and I heard some still support non K, but haven't been able to confirm that rumor or which boards :/
