Hi there:
I have an audio file (.wav, can easily be converted obviously) that I need to transcribe into a word document. I was going through my various audio programs (audacity, Windows media player, quicktime, itunes etc.) and I haven't been able to find any functionality to alter the playback speed.
What I need to do is slow down my file by a little bit for the duration of the track, so that I can keep up with the people speaking on the audio track. (half speed, 3/4 speed anything slower!)
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt.
