Okay so I was stupid... I had flashed to HyperWRT Thibor and it worked fine, so I wanted to try out DD-WRT. I tried to flash, but it told me the upgrade failed and took me back to Thibor's CP-- figured I'd flash the NVRAM and try again, but as soon as I clicked "Flash NVRAM," the power light on the router started blinking and I couldn't connect to the control panel anymore.

No matter what I do (with combinations of unplugging it and holding the reset button) I can't get the power light to stop flashing. The good news is that the router is still assigning my computer an IP, and I can ping the router and get a response.

So after some research online, it seems like I just need to force new firmware onto the router. Two methods suggested for this are LinkSys' Auto Upgrade Utility, and the Windows tftp command. Unfortunately, the LinkSys AUU doesn't appear to be available for the WRT54GL, and I'm running Windows Vista on my only PC, which doesn't have tftp built into the shell (apprently).

So what's a guy to do? Anyone got advice?
