Howdy,
I've replaced my almost-dead ProCurve 2824 with a ProCurve 1810-24G v2. Prior to the swap, my NetGear JGS516PE, which acts as my secondary switch for my PoE cameras along with aggregating drops from the rest of the house, was tied up the 2824 via a static trunk and worked flawlessly (I had two ports in a single LAG membership on the NetGear itself).
Now, however, I am having all sorts of problems. I've setup two ports on the ProCurve as static trunks, connected the NetGear to it and - if I have STP/RTSP disabled, it sorta-kinda works but I see some serious traffic collisions from the rest of my devices. For example - my main desktop can hit other network resources about half the time; file transfer speeds are complete shyte and web surfing is a hit-or-miss.
If I enable STP/RSTP, every port goes solid on its link activity LED and nothing can communicate.
Any ideas on how to resolve this and get LAG to work properly again?
Thanks!
