Need Good Desktop Gaming Mic

I do have a very good Razer headset with a very good mic but realize now that I prefer gaming without the headset. Anyone recommend a good mic that I can use independent of a headset that will keep ambient noise out? Most of my games like Ark have push to talk so I wouldn't be transmitting noise all the time.

I've had good luck with this little guy. I have used it for years with no issues and I don't even use PTT on Discord. I just raise my thresholds so that it only keys when I am actually talking and for the most part it does fine. I'm not going to tell you it won't pick up any background noise, but it is not what I would consider excessive by any means. Are there better mics out there? Probably, but they will also cost significantly more as well. This one doesn't break the bank and does the job fine.
