I decided to fire up classic NFS:MW (2005) on my HTPC (Win7, G620T, intel hd 2000, 4GB). Since it's an old game, it runs fine on integrated graphics, even with the widescreen fix: http://thirteenag.github.io/widescreen_fixes_pack .
The problem is that whichever wireless controller I try (Xbox 360 wireless or Logitech Rumblepad 2), the steering always drifts to the left. Even if I use the keyboard and leave the controller plugged into the usb port, the car drifts left, making it nearly impossible to control. I tried an old, wired Gravis Gamepad Pro, and it worked fine.
At first, I thought it was a Windows 7 compatibility problem, but the same steering drifting left occurred when I tried running the game on my old P4 1.5 GeForce 4 ti4200 WinXP box. The wired controller or keyboard without any wireless controllers plugged in worked fine.
TL;DR, does anyone remember being able to run this game with wireless controllers? Are there any possible fixes? I already tried calibrating the controller in Win7, with no changing results.
