Need Assistance

I missed out on most the black friday deals and cyber monday , I am looking for a decent gaming 1440p monitor for under 300$ , I know i prolly am not going to be able to afford a 144hz monitor unless it is refurbished which i don't mind if it comes with a standard 1 yr warranty. If it can be overclocked is ok also.

Ha I was in for 2 of those refurb NECs the other day like everyone else, and none went through but have 2 X-Stars. The stands on the Korean ebay QHD monitors suck but both of mine easily do 96hz. I didn't go for Pixel Perfect at the time, one had 0 dead pixels, one had one. I don't know if the Monoprice overclocks as well but check out the forums, both would certainly be a good buy.

Thanks for this info , i just got the monitor today. Hooked it up and overclocked it to 96HZ without issue for 20 minutes on GTA V on med-high settings. Works great and big upgrade from a 1080p monitor! Oh and not 1 dead pixel. HOORAY!
