Hi guys. Trying to find a low EMI all metal PC case for my music studio. I currently have a Fractal Design R6 brand new, but my build is interfering with guitar pickups. I'm pretty sure it's because half of the thing is plastic and providing little resilience to EMI. Wondering if anyone has any good ideas.

Ive got a feeling i might have to venture into server territory here as everything seems windowed or partially plastic these days!

Older Lian Li cases are solid Aluminum. Not sure on the newer cases offered by that manufacturer, or the Aluminum performance for EMI bombproofing. Supermicro has some nice steel 4U rackmount cases... I have an older unit I bought used that was ATX format.... very solid all steel including 5-1/4" drive bezels... very industrial and large. Did not run it in a rack and took the handles and rails off. You might try that.

if that is your issue youll want an all steel case with solid side panels. try a ferrite choke on the cable make sure everything is grounded correctly etc first.
if it is the case look for .8mm steel like:

or these that are a bit thinner but solid:

    or go steel rackmount.

Thanks Dragons! Very helpful :) I'll check them out thoroughly and see which portions are plastic.
