gepetto said:it only has 128 bit memory and 12 pipes whereas the 6800 gt had 16 pipes and 256 bit memory. Is this correct ? Would this make a big difference ?
gepetto said:this card seems like the best bang for the buck. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and go with one of these. Does this look like the one to get ?

Nakamori said:wow, impressive. so the 7600gt pulls 5500 in 3DMark05 and 4200 in 06? my card's score gets cut in half
I have an eVGA 7600GT KO and I will be SLI'ng it soon. It is a beast to say the least. You CANNOT beat it in price/performance ratio.
omega-x said:a) one of those benches (the 7800) is at 1.8 instead of 2.
b) they didnt run all the tests, which would give a much clearer picture of the differences between cards.
omega-x said:i dont doubt it as i ordered one yesterday, i'm just saying people need to run more comprehensive tests to prove it
gepetto said:does the card come with a dvi to vga adapter ? i noticed just about all the cards are dvi
lightsourcex said:Stock 6800GT Yes, OC'd 6800GT 400/11000 (6800ULtra) no. But it still is a very good card, and since demand for that card is pretty high, you can get it for a cheap price.
I say you go for it, the 68U may have better performance but 7600GT has better shader support. Go for it. Make sure to get the KO edition from eVGA, better stock heatsink, or you should get the Zalman VF900.
