need advice for an amd mobo, ASUS "A7N8X-E Deluxe" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU in particular, newegg for some specs, for an amd cpu, more specifically an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ "Barton", 400MHz FSB, 512K Cache Processor, cpu @ newegg there's a link for some specs for that, generally need the mobo around 100 bucks, if you guys could help that would rock, thanks in advance.

Ya, The NF7-S might be a better buy because it has most of the features and is cheaper than the Asus. The 2500 barton would be better if you'll be oc'ing a bit, if not you can always buy a faster one.

Try not sinking too much money into an aged platform. For the same money you originally proposed you can buy into the newest platforms, if you're buying Nforce2 this late in the game then save yourself a few dollars...
