Need a switch, fast.... cheap....

I tried to convert my old router into a switch, that did not work out.

My next best option is to buy a switch as I need internet for all three devices in my room.

What at should I look for? Can I get away by spenindg $20 or so? Newegg?

Any thoughts or suggestions?


PS: My networking setup

d-link router
+ xbox
+ xbox 360
+ roomate's laptop
+ my laptop / my pc / my mac

You could do a D-Link switch and then it may be stackable with the router.

and i like it
i wont need it to be stackable since the router is my roomate's room....
