My Founder Edition 2080ti's fan is starting to make very annoying sounds,
and I would like to replace it with an aftermarket air cooler.

I have a pretty small Mini-ATX case, so the replacement needs to
only take up two slots like the original cooler.

Anybody have any idea what options are out there for replacement?

If you have room you can try the NZXT G12 bracket and a 120mm AIO. This is what I'm doing in my mITX system.

Soooo....I ended up going with the Alphacool Eiswolf 240 GPX!

What a real nice piece of kit! Temps in demandys games like RD2 are around 45-50c
BFV is around 35c and Halo Reach is low 30's!

All at whisper quiet, its great! I use to do pretty extreme water cooling rigs and this was a nice change of pace.

Or I'd try and buy a replacement FE cooler from someone who was WC theirs.

The stock FE cooler has like 50-60 screws...I never, ever want to bother with that POS ever again!

Nice, but damn, $200 !
I hope it can be used on future cards.
Although no noise and max performance are worth a lot.
I went with the Accelero Xtreme III air cooler which is silly cheap and very effective.
