Need a shallow optical drive. Recommendations?

Hey guys, so as the title states I'm looking for a shallow (short depth) DVD drive to replace the one I have right now. The NEC drive I have is about 7.5" in length and I would like anything out there shorter. I'm looking for maybe at least half an inch. Any recommendations?

This is making digital distribution even more appealing since if this damn game didn't need a CD check every time I loaded it then I would be fine...:mad:

I am using a Lite-On DVDR & its not much deeper then it is wide. Plus its cheap & reliable
 
I just bought a ASUS DRW-24B1ST DVD burner that's 170mm / 6.75 inches long. You probably can't do much better than that for a 5.25 bay drive.
