Need a new router! Too much streaming/file transfers for my old pre-n

what router do you guys recommend that is decent in price for a gigabit router? my old netgear one is having some serious bandwidth issues and every now and then it likes to just freeze and start spinning the lights on top and i cannot log in to the router or anything. i have to power cycle.

I just got the new Linksys E3000 model after my old model crapped out and it works fabulous for the last month. It is a remake of the old WRT610. The only thing is the router runs fairly hot so I put a spare laptop fan under it.

Bingo. Crappy network storage, basically.

been reading a lot of reviews...despite the crappy network storage it seems like a really solid router...and since i wouldn't even use it for that to begin with seems like a great option.

however, $150 is a lot to sink into router. ill see how much money i have left over after my new build

I use the Airport Extreme at home, and I think its a great router. I got it for about $130 I think.
