Need a NAtive SATA driver XP for my laptop

my laptop bluescreens everytime i turn native sata on is there a driver someone can give me to let xp support native? im using a hp compaq nc8430 any help is appriciated thanks!
 
It is not an easy task.. Windows was installed with the controller in ide or legacy mode.. And you need the SATA native drivers installed, however you can not install the drivers without enabling this mode first, and you can not boot windows without installing the driver first. (Catch 22)

The way around this with a desktop system is to temporarily connect the drive to another SATA controller that you can install the driver for, switch to SATA mode then install the drivers and then move the drive back to the controller you want to use.

However with a laptop this is not an option.

This means your best bet may be to be a "repair install" of Windows XP with the drivers on a floppy disk to be able to do the "Press F6 to install drivers" option, or with the drivers slipstreamed onto a XP install disk.
