Hey,

I’m looking for a midrange 4K screen with more real estate than a 27inch (that I currently have) for work on pcbs and schematics, with a secondary function as a gaming monitor.

I’m currently looking at the LG 32UK550-B but wondering if there is a better option, I could jump up to 40/43 inches quite happily, but there seems to be a lack of options in this range. Colour accuracy isn't a huge deal, but definition is (ppi)

Freesync is a bonus

Price is flexible

Looking for suggestions.

What do you mean "more real estate"? If your 27" is currently 4k and you move to a 40" 4k, you are not gaining anything. Infact your main criteria of high ppi has just dropped drastically...

In that case, a 43" display would be about the same PPI. I'd recommend a 32" given what you've said. Windows scales very well nowadays.

Ok could you be more specific?

Currently looking at the LG 32K550-B - thoughts?

If you want a lot of space on your desktop and high PPI then:
Dell UP3218K
