Need A Little Performance Boost

need a little performance boost i have a couple options
my specs
amd 64 [email protected] on Zalaman 7700
x800gt @ 550core/550memory stock hsf
1gig of gigaram
1X512 generic memory
sounds blaster live 5.1

my options
get a new hsf for my x800gt and try to overclock a little more?
get 1 more gig and replace my 512 and run memory in duel channel
im have a bugget of >$100

any options are welcome
 
replace the 512MB stick with another of the 1GB stick you already have. It is not imperative that they match, but mismatching can cause instability. You are not guaranteed any overclock with the new video card cooler.

so i should add 1 more of thease and have 2 gig of duel channel for about 80 bucks
or get a new hsf for my card for about 25 bucks

Again, the memory, but personally I would save up and replace the video card.
 
i wont be doing a full upgrade for about a year or so
this setup is pretty good i play fear at full settings (with tiny bit of shuttering outside thats y i want a little bit more fsp so im sure the memory is gona help cuz im useing prettymuch all my memory right now and duel channel is worth it
