I need to pick up a good sub-$100 point and shoot digital camera today (must get it today, stores I have available will be Best-Buy, Walmart)

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olstemp...SP&sp=-bestsellingsort+skuid&usc=abcat0400000

http://www.walmart.com/browse/Camer...ef=429827+4294295963+500002&refineresult=true

I am stuck (would prefer to buy online, have it shipped but for a cheapy sub-$100 camera it prob won't make a difference) and have to get it brick and morter as I need it today

What would you get?

I'd probably go with the Canon A3100. I've never handled a Canon camera I didn't like it. Same goes for Nikon, but the Canon seems to be slightly higher rated.

In my experience, the others (Sony, Olympus, Kodak, ect.) have some really great cameras, and some really terrible ones. Without having used them all, it's had to say on experience. Since you don't seem to have time to research it, the Canon is probably the most likely to be a good blind purchase.

I got a canon EOS 20. Brilliant camera. Its old now but its still brilliant
