Need a 2k-4k FreeSync Monitor

MUST be no more than 25-1/2" wide (physical measurement) to fit inside my desk hutch.
I suppose that would be about 27" corner-to-corner
FreeSync a must. Cost is a slight issue.

Probably smarter to go 4k, but only running a RX 580 right now until Navi
Use is 80% office stuff + 20% gaming

Historically, I've only bought either ViewSonic or Samsung for monitors, but is there another brand/model that I should be considering?

Nixeus EDG 27″ fit your budget? There's also the BenQ BL2711U 27" but I'm seeing several negative reviews on Newegg and Amazon about flickering that would be annoying while doing office work.
