just bought the cable kit for the corsair sf600.
What rear 92mm fan would you reccomend? Looking for silents ones... And for the side panel?
thanks.

Nice clean build you have there, looks great. Interesting color on your cables but they go well with the Noctua fans, did you sleeve them yourself?

I would try removing the EVGA fans and seeing how temps changed, also would switch to exhausting.Finished my build for time being.

xfan10 great looking build I really like how the cables turned out (even not completely matching the color of the Noctua fans).
One thing I'm curious is the average fps in BF1. You sure you have 90 fps average at 2160p with ultra settings?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if the M1 owners using the magnetic filter (on the bracket fans) are happy with it.
Is the mesh fine/small enough to stop the dust?
Does it add noise to your fans?
is enough for me.No opinion about this filter?
Must be that everyone is happy with it I guess
Thx a lot!is enough for me.
no add noise to the side fans
Anyone installed Arctic AX3 on their 1080ti SC2? I'm not sure if I did something wrong here. I ran Heaven and max temp I've got is 84c on a 2k monitor with my fans on aggressive mode without overclock. Ambient temp is about 29c. I can't even overclock the card, Maybe because of the Thermal paste or how I put the heatsinks or maybe because of where I plug my fans??? I used a Gelid fan adapter to connect my F12s at the bottom.

They're pushing air out of the case. The temps never go down 50c even on idle. Is this normal? When you purchased your ML120's did you still connect them to your GPU or to the M/B?Yes, 84c is the max limit, so the card may not be running at full speed. Double check that the fans have indeed max RPM using hwmonitor or something. Are the fans pulling air in or pushing it out?
I installed the AC4 + extra heatsinks on the 1080ti FE with an SC2 bios and ended up with temps above 80c using the F12s. I picked up a ML120 twin pack quite cheap and surprisingly the temps instantly went down below 70c. The noise level isn't too bad, much better than the ref cooler, but not F12 good.
I'm guess the F12s isn't able to generate enough pressure. Perhaps it could be related to how the rest of the fans are facing in the case.
Do you have a picture of this setup?I had a similar problem when I first put the Arctic Acelero Extreme on my GTX770. It was severely throttling because of temperature. I was afraid that I didn’t install the heat sink correctly and I ended up taking it off and checking the thermal paste, but it all looked good.
Then I started listening to the fans. I had 2x120mm fans plugged into the graphics card fan header with a gelid splitter/adapter. It turns out that the card wasn’t giving enough power to the fans, so they weren’t actually spinning very fast.
So then I got a fan splitter that takes the PWM signal from one source, but powers the fans from a molex plug. Once I did that, the fans were able to spin up a lot faster and move enough air through the heat sink to keep the card cool enough to prevent throttling.
I was thinking of connecting the bottom fans directly to the M/B but I'm not sure if that'll be ok.I don’t have any pictures right now, but if you search on Amazon for “PWM splitter with molex power” you will find what I use. I have an adapter that I plug into the graphics card that converts from whatever weird fan header the graphics card uses to a regular 4 pin fan, then I plug the PWM splitter into that and I actually have 3 fans plugged in to the splitter. 2 on the bottom and one on the side panel bracket.
hi again!
Just received the ASUS Strix Z370-I motherboard, with no precint on its box or on its anti-static badge...
is this normal or should i claim to amazon?
xfan10, was that your case too?
thank you.
whats a precint?
Sorry, i wanted to say "SEAL" xD.
Sealed boxed or sealed antistatic bag...

Yes, they're connected to the GPU. There should be plenty of power, don't let the small connector fool you. Fan headers are usually able to supply ~1A, in comparison a single F12 draws 0.05A and a ML120 draws 0.225A.They're pushing air out of the case. The temps never go down 50c even on idle. Is this normal? When you purchased your ML120's did you still connect them to your GPU or to the M/B?
Hi all,
I have bought an Ncase M1 v4 to a friend days ago and I am thinking in watercooling the CPU+GPU. I have been researching several configurations, being my goals: use of an AIO over custom loop (I dont want an ugly reservoir behind the case). Silence and use of QDCs.
I have seen the Alphacool eisbaer + eiswolf combo but the former uses a tall pump preventing the use of the side space for the radiator (I think so, I have not be able to found exact measures or compatibility facts with this one).
Another option is using a modular combo from EKWB (EK-MLC Phoenix 240 rad, pump and GPU full cover) but I have seen here that the Predator (same measures than phoenix rad.) doesn't fit... Until I saw this: https://imgur.com/gallery/wuWqz/new Apparently this guy have suceeded in fitting that monster inside the M1.
And the other option is to use the new Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme that holds the pump and reservoir inside the radiator, but I don't know the exact specs now so I really don't know https://www.eteknix.com/alphacool-teases-eisbaer-extreme-aio-liquid-cpu-cooler/
Could you tell me what do you think guys?
THX!
PS: sorry for my english
You can follow this guide posted by qrash.Hi to everyone, finally i got here everything to build my system.
Is there any step by step building guide for the ncase?
The dell monitor still has to arrive. Amazon did it again. I'll found myself mounting everything except the cpu and the cooler.
Thanks to all for the help. I'm going to search the build guide around.

Hi!
Should i put the 2nd noctua fan on the nh-u9s or would be better to put in on the back of the ncase? (i don't remember if i asked this here... maybe xD)
xfan10 , you have the z370 rog, will the cooler fit ok with the 2 fans?
Another matter, it's easy to install the cpu cooler and the fans with the motherboard already assembled in the ncase, or it's better to install the cooler and its fans on the mobo and then put everything together in the case (mobo, nhu9s with two 92mm fans)?
I want to do the best possible.
Thanks a lot.
If you want to exhaust ALL hot air then you can duct one end of CPU cooler to the fan you will attach to back of case, I think I already gave you the link to my build, it's in my signature if you want to have a look.Hi!
