My tracking info shows that my package is in LA being processed by customs already. Hopefully customs processes it quickly! Shipping has been very fast thus far!

:( I live just an hour south of LA and haven't received tracking yet. It was a pre-order order too. But it's fine, as long as it comes. Just hyped to build my first computer!

Have you guys emailed support? I would think you should have it by now. Hopefully if order got misplaced they ordered some extras for stateside that they could ship to you.

I emailed support this morning, but haven't received a response back (they are generally very quick, so may be their work hours outside of doing the Ncase stuff).

When did you order yours?

Is it 100% confirmed that EVGA 980 ti Classified cards do not fit in the m1?
Even is there is low profile power connectors and put in the lower slot using pci-extender.

That is interesting - I paid for TW Air and nothing yet (no tracking number). Fingers crossed soon!

When do they become available for shipping from the US?

All the shipping options are via TW and pretty expensive, all things considered. I read it goes via USPS to US customers, is that not the case anymore?

They're made in Taiwan. You're going to pay for shipping from there no matter what in the end.

I emailed the NCASE support team regarding this a couple of months ago and they said sometime in October.

Get all the parts for my build tomorrow (except case). It is going to make the wait for my Ncase that much more miserable.

Still waiting for the first tracking number.

It could ofcourse explain the situation but without a second Z87E-ITX to test, it will be difficult to find out. Unless the ones with issues have visual defects.

Can you launch it in "normal mode" or just a plain non-multi-core mode ? I searched for the multi-threaded issue and many users have issues with it, so I wouldn't take that as an indication.

If you decide to disassemble it, try it OUTSIDE of the case if possible. You can use the foam beneath the motherboard to safely use it outside of the case (it comes with the box), ASUS does it like that: http://www.anandtech.com/show/8201/the-asus-hq-tour-testing-facilities-qvl/2

This could be PSU or motherboard related.

Don't waste your money on that, these are only good to find out if your PSU has obvious bad wiring. These things don't put any load on your PSU, which is when most issues arise.

This could indicate a problem with the PSU or the RAM sockets, although I'm not sure the motherboard would shut off the PC when you remove a stick of RAM while powered on.

Your hardware should run fine with the 450W SFX PSU, unless it's not getting cooled properly. Can you make sure the fan spins properly and that warm or hot air is getting out, without the PSU case being too hot ? You could remove the top panel for a while to see if that does anything.

so, after a long time, it finally happened. my computer shutdown by itself while it was sleep and never woke up again. previously, i could turn it back on after a random shutdown by leaving it disconnected for a while, or by pressing the Clear CMOS button, or by pressing the power button (cold start). but this time, it seems like it's completely dead. i guess it was bound to happen, given my history with this computer.

it's the motherboard. there are various reviews on Newegg about this ASRock board, and specifically, there is one with the exact symptoms that i have seen from mine. i'll send the board to ASRock for warranty, but given its age and the fact that it's out of production, i'll be receiving a refurbished board, it any! and it'll most probably fail one way or another.

now my question: is there a ITX board with an mSATA connector? i have one mSATA drive that i've been using with my ASRock Z87 board, and i have stuff on it that i don't want to lose. i'd like to get a new(er) ITX board with mSATA. do they make those anymore?

Do you mean mSATA on the I/O?

there is one mSATA port on the backside of the ASRock Z87E-ITX motherboard (see this). i am asking whether there are other ITX motherboards with mSATA ports on the motherboard (preferably not ASRock, given my experience with them).

I've got the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC waiting patiently for my NCase to get here. I was a little concerned when I saw the girth of this bad boy but the measurements are within specified compatibility (with millimeters to spare).

Can't wait to see it all come together!

Tri-X R9 290 fits just fine. i have a Tri-X R9 290X in my build (posted a picture of it a long time ago in this thread, if you want to see).

Hey guys. Figured I would give you an update to perhaps help others gauge the time frame on shipping. My package just cleared customs, but don't have an update on when it could arrive, but I'm guessing it should be fairly soon. Hang in there everyone!

I did a quick search on NewEgg and Amazon and found a few, if overclocking is not required. There's the GIGABYTE GA-B85N Phoenix-WIFI and the MSI H81TI at NewEgg. They also list the EVGA Z97 STINGER CORE3D (model = 111-HR-E972-KR), but it's not in stock. An EVGA webpage lists it as coming soon, but htis might be an old webpage.

Amazon lists two Gigabyte motherboards with the Intel H81 chipset and another one with the Q87. Good luck.

Didn't even get my tracking yet ;( Paid for TW Air and it was pre-order. I feel like I should email them since everyone is getting tracking, or I should wait for the 24th since that was the date in the email. So anxious lol

to the couple of you that haven't received tracking yet- when did you put your preorders in? i wonder if your emails might've just slipped thru the cracks and they're actually with the rest of ours.

One case cleared customs and has left LA. The other case hasn't cleared customs yet. I guess they will arrive on separate days.

They are sent/processed in batches. Did you order it later in the pre-order period?

thank you very much for the list. it seems like i have to let go of overclocking, Wi-Fi, or mSATA.

You could repurpose the mSATA into an Intel NUC 4th gen or sell it ofcourse. Also possible is putting it into a 2.5" adapter. mSATA has had a short life, basically because it took to long to reach adoption and it's quickly being replaced by M.2. Still not as short as SATA Express though :D But M.2 is still an issue, since there is only one Z87/Z97 mITX board that offers the full speed spec (PCIe 3.0 x4 with NVMe and >80mm length) and that is the Asus Maximus VII Impact board which retails about double of the other mITX Z97 boards.

I would definitely look at the Asus Z97I-PLUS as a good alternative. It supports the Samsung XP941 after a BIOS update: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1040937477#post1040937477

Here's a list of all retail available 1150 mITX boards with a full-length mSATA slot.
Of those boards I've got the Gigabyte GA-B85N Phoenix and I can't complain about anything so far, but it isn't exactly newer than your board. I think all other boards that are released in the future will feature an M.2 slot instead of mSATA.
