recommend use M.2 type SSD (Maximus VII impact!!!)
it will save you one sata/power cable and one space
than you can put 2*2.5 HDD on the botton
i don't care to but them at the bottom i thought there was a mount for a ssd or two on the inside at the front of the case, beside the sfx PSU?
and i will be using a msata ssd along with 2x 2.5" SSD's
I did see one picture of drives mounted on the inside of the front of the case, but I do not recall if that was with or without a 240mm radiator.
I believe with a 240mm radiator, you can still fit one in some cases. it depends on the physical length of your radiator (essentially how thick the frame is
I'll ask w360 to make a note of it.Hi!
I ordered a silver Ncase M1 saturday and i am super excited. However i was wondering if there will be a problem with shipping because my PayPal address is in Swedish, so instead of Sweden it says Sverige. Will this work?
It's already been pretty well answered, but I'll reiterate: the inside-front 2.5" mount depends on radiator length - the H220 is longer and only allows a single 7mm drive, and only with the barbs at the back. Radiators under 280mm long should allow for two drives stacked. The bottom-rear mount is the other possibility for one or both drives. An M.2 drive is not a bad suggestion either.I've already got a M1 V2 ordered but just have a Quick Question , if using a slim slot loading Optical Drive, SFX PSU, 240m Rad , and Ref 780ti , what options do I have for 2x 2.5" SSD placement ? Like I place both of them staked beside the PSU and still have clearance for the 240rad ?
Please don't. The truth is, we could continue taking orders up until they're ready to be shipped, since we're ordering plenty of extras (w360 is even taking out a loan to do it). We mainly took the order page down so we could get a lock on the number of orders, and because we said we would. I can talk to w360 about taking additional orders, at least on an individual basis.Damn! Missed the 2nd batch AGAIN by 1 day!??
I'm gonna kill myself!!!

Does anyone know if there are metal washers for fan screws? I'm using my own extra long fan screws at the bottom of the M1 case but after repeated disassembly, the holes have gotten bigger and sometimes the screws slip through. Will M4 washers work?
I'll ask w360 to make a note of it.
Fan screws for 120mm fans are M4, so yes, M4 washers will work
I know it's not the L9i or thermalright, but I've just bought a NH-U9B SE2 and it's working very well on my 3570K.If i may ask for some help regarding the cpu cooler.
Anyone with a Thermalight AXP 100 or a Noctua L9i with good results?

Anyone running the ST30SF with a low powered GPU? I'm thinking of getting the ST30SF and a GTX 750 Ti
AXP-100 review by [H]: >Link<
I've been happy with mine. Fits in P8H77-I nicely and doesn't interfere with PCIe or memory.
If i may ask for some help regarding the cpu cooler.
Anyone with a Thermalight AXP 100 or a Noctua L9i with good results?
My build:
- i7 2700k - no oc plans, just need something as quiet as possible and to keep the cpu ~ 60 degrees C in gaming.
- MSI B75IA-E33 - my motherboard has the socket near the video slot - and i want a cooler that i can also use in the future when i upgrade the cpu to a newer generation and can be installed with boards with socket centered like the Asus Impact series.
- 8 GB Crucial Tactical Tracers - normal height
Are they enough and quiet in load for the job?
So, any input is of great help and any recommendation of other low profile coolers please don't hesitate
Thank you.

i was just planning on using a AIO watercooling setup but after being late to the party and just now seeing the EK fullblock CPU/Chipset block for the Asus Maximus 6 Impact, i kind of want it, anyone see anyone use this full block in this case yet?
*Edit* 1
I actually found a build that i might mimic, was wondering if anyone knows this person or has a build log to this, im curious to what rad and pump he is using...
*Edit* 2
Thanks to Google Image Search found the buildlog

The first picture, with it in the ncase isn't mine.
The second picture is mine though, and my mobo is the gigabyte h77n-Wi-Fi, which has the socket as close to the GPU as it can be.
In my opinion the fans on the U9B are kind of loud at stock speeds, but with the ULNA (blue) adapter they're pretty quiet.
I had similar results with my 92mm Gentle Typhoons. It's a shame they stopped making them. Wonder if there's a San Ace equivalent for people that don't have GTsThe conclusion I came to with this cooler, was that the heatsink depth and narrower fins created a relatively high resistance heatsink, and the noctua fans had insufficient static pressure for this heatsink. This meant that the heatsink had the potential to transfer heat, but required more static pressure, something that the stock fans only provided by increasing fan RPMs. At the full 1800 rpm, the heatsink would work well, but it was getting louder. Changing to a Gentle Typhoon 92mm fan, the cpu temps improved dramatically, for a given sound level. Load temps dropped 5-10 degrees! The perceived airflow through the heatsink was very significantly higher. Where the GT was not so good was the fact that it was a ball bearing fan, and at idle levels, the bearing hiss was audible (were talking a dead silent room here, and no mechanical HDDs). Apart from that, the GT was clearly superior.

I found that the heatsink can achieve decent deltas, but the fact that it pulled air from inside the case, meant that running a non-blower type gpu was a hinderance to the CPU cooling. CPU alone, temps of 60-65 degrees were normal at 900 rpm, ambient of 30. Once the GPU was loaded with furmark, CPU temps reached 70-80 degrees. I was testing the case in a confined space, and higher ambient loads to test worst case scenario. The same would apply to any cpu cooler that drew air from inside the case, and this would apply to practically all super low profile coolers, and tower type coolers. What the U9B had going for it though, was the fact that it helped push air toward the top panel, and hopefully helped exhaust air. This was on a top biased CPU socket ASrock board.

so these low profile 240mm res were just released by Hardware labs
http://hardwarelabs.com/nemesis/nemesis-products/nemesis-gts/nemesis-240gts
Supposedly optimized for low RPM 'silent' cooling, at only 16 FPI and 30mm thick, I think they'd be great as a bottom res with slim 120mm fans on the bottom of the Ncase now if only Noctua will release their 15mm 120mm fans
I have had my eyes on those rads for a while. The X-flow version might be nice as a bottom rad with external fans.not enough space for a 30mm rad and 15mm fans
Not sure if trolling...I have had my eyes on those rads for a while. The X-flow version might be nice as a bottom rad with external fans.
