NASA's Curiosity Rover to Land on Mars This Weekend

So I am to understand that this rover is to look for possibilities of past or present life forms correct?

Who here thinks that we will actually KNOW if there was ever life there?

NASA Scientist: OMFG WE FOUND LIFE!!!

CIA Agent: No you didn't! *sinks bullet in the back of scientists brain*

Wow the chat on that stream just shows how stupid people are these days.

I'm actually crying right now. I"m so happy it worked and landed in one piece.

We have first images from the hazard camera and rear camera!

They did it! Loved how the timing of it had it happening during the Olympics, too. :)

This isn't the first rover on Mars...if this is what it takes world hunger should have been tackled a looong time ago!

Didn't the British get there first? I remember some guy talking about it on Top Gear(British)

Watching the live stream still. It would appear that everyone working there tonight is using a Macbook Pro lol. Even NASA has jumped on the Apple bandwagon!

I hope you are joking....

The 2 small rovers that safely landed on mars and sent back pictures for the past few years where American. I don't think anyone has landed something on Mars except the US.
