MySQL on a SPARC Linux?

Hi guys,

Maybe someone can answer this question for me, since I'm new to SQL and all this stuff.

I was looking on the website to download MySQL 4.0 for my Gentoo box on the SPARC platform. Only trouble is, it's not there. Yet, from what I've been able to digest, it's supposed to exist.

Is it the source that I'm supposed to download then? There's nothing specific for the SPARC based machines for Linux?

Just double checking.

You will need to build it from source. As for which tarball o' source code you need I'm not quite sure since my last Sparc died before I got a chance to do much with it.
