One of the most popular crypto wallets, MyEtherWallet, has forked and one of the co-founders is starting a new wallet called MyCrypto. The current version of MC is really a forked version of MEW but the new enhanced version will be coming soon along with a new website. What this means for the future of both wallets/services is kind of unclear. However, if you use MEW then there's nothing to fear because it's not going away anytime soon.

Reasons for the split are not clear, but, reading between the lines of what Monahan wrote, it appears that the two MEW founders had different visions of the future for the service — which began as a side-project to both of their professional careers.

Just a fyi for everyone keystone files generated by mew can be used under parity or geth even if mew fell of the planet

Been gone for a week and come back and find my EtherMiner closed with an error window. I rebooted and checked my Unpaid Balance and it shows 0.00000.

I also noticed 4 payouts each going to a different address.

than you either xfered them or your wallet file was taken from you and used to move the coin. did you protect / encrypt your file?

I only transferred 1 time which was in November. My wallet is encrypted. I have been trying the last 3 days to sync but it wont.

Finally my wallet synced up and those 4 transfers showed up in it. It was suppose to auto transfer at 0.05 which is why I was confused.
All is good now.
