specs in sig, Ive tried everything it seems, from low level formats, to messing around with user defined. I even tried plugging it to my sata using serilell2, no luck. In the bios and in windows it is seen as 32 gb. Data life guard not working either. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your BIOS isn't capable of reading above 32 gig. Older systems are not capable of reading above that. Also, win 98 cannot do bigger then 32gig unless you partition it under FAT 32
