Home lab with 2 vsphere 6.0 hosts. Primary datastore is a 1TB iSCSI LUN served up from a ZFS on Linux appliance. Works just fine. It seems though, any time I end up having to reboot, both hosts fails to mount the datastore, due to " Device eui.6666376632356635:1 detected to be a snapshot". I've never done anything I'm aware of to cause this. google shows a bunch of blog entries as well as vmware KBs on how to mount a snapshot volume, but I've not found anything that explains *why* this is happening. It's trivial to fix, but a real bummer, since if anything takes down a host (like the power failure I just had a home), none of the VMs come back up without intervention Any hints most appreciated...
