Lead is the least of the his worries, its the arsenic, iodine or bromine that you have to worry about. Best thing todo is just frame it, a broken wafer will screw your day up in more then one way.

The lead would be the imediate issue. If it breaks, I would worry a little about the other stuff. There are layers that prevent that from being a huge issue.

East Fishkill? As in Hudson Valley Research Park? I work for IBM @ East Fishkill, NY so I am just curious if u meant the 300MM Fab here on site.

edit - I will say this, I heard that it was decent. But, do you think that AMD would release a product that is 50% slower than their current products?

No.. I don't know what happened.. my brother was probably doing something with it.. It should be back up now, but it is a little slow today..

I got permission from AMD before I posted the pictures, so that should be good.


..and stop scaring me about this wafer.
