Thank you for checking out my build! More pics below, or here: http://imgur.com/a/xFLZx

First watercooled rig. First time overclocking. Second PC build for me. Many parts were reused from my previous build and bought on sale. Used for daily work (teleconferencing) and 4k 60hz gaming. I also do some photo editing in Lightroom. Mostly just for me to look at and admire all day while I work!

It was a blast to learn about watercooling and put this together. It all started by seeing the Thermaltake P5 case and the amazing builds people have put together out there.

I loved the look of the EVGA FTW and so I wasn't tempted to watercool it. It also runs at a great OC at around 60 C on air.

My pipe runs are not efficient nor direct, but that was not my goal. I planned it to be visually unobstructive of the other components, and pleasing to my eye. I liked the look of the 90 degree fittings in other rigs, and didn't plan to do many bends myself, but in the end I had to put some in, and I am very happy with how they turned out. The pictures make some of the horizontal runs look a bit slanted, but in person it is not apparent.

Currently running distilled water. Plan to drain in a few months and possibly switch to Mayhem's pastel either white or blue.

The android phone is attached with a velcro strip so I can remove it and take it with me for monitoring stress test runs, etc. from other rooms. I can also control the fan speed, RGB lighting, and boot/shutdown from a different app on the phone.

The SSD is vinyl wrapped to keep it a bit stealthed, but still clearly not part of the case.

The drain plug has a wrist watch movement displayed, which ties it into another one of my hobbies; watch collecting.

OC'ing the CPU was alot of fun too, and I'm pleased with the result. I was able to boot to windows at 5 Ghz @ 1.44 V but it crashed on the first test run on Cinebench. I am going to read up more and try more tweaks to get stable at 5 GHZ. It passed stress testing at 4.9 @ 1.44 but the temps were 75 C max so I decided to drop back to the current OC 4.8 at 1.32 V for daily use.

I'm interested in hearing your comments and recommendations. Eventually I'll pick up a 1080 Ti reference card to add to the watercooling loop. Any tips on settings to tweak for a stable 5Ghz OC?

Dang that looks good as hell.

I want more details on the android app.

Here's something you don't see everyday....

Did you write that Android app yourself?? (aka, where the hell did that app come from. I can't find it on Google but would love to run it myself)

Regardless, supercool sir!

Thanks, and I wish I was able to write an app myself...

It isn't so much an app, as a feature built into Aida64 Extreme called remote sensor. https://forums.aida64.com/topic/2636-remotesensor-lcd-for-smartphones-and-tablets/

Basically it creates a webpage based on the sensor readout you design inside the program. You can point any browser on your network to the computer's IP address and port number and the webpage will show up.

I do use a few apps to make it easier to display on android: "full screen browser", "no lock", and "screen on".

The hardest parts were opening a port through windows firewall and my router (I don't have much experience with that), and getting the webpage designed how I wanted it to look. There are many options.

Nice clean build. The lighting was tastefully done, and everything fits together. I love the look of that CPU block.
